The best part of summer has to be sitting by a barn fire with a s'mores in hand. But if you don't have a barn fire, that doesn't mean you cant have a s'mores. Unlike a normal S'more filled with plain chocolate, this skillet is filled with chocolate peanut butter cups! This easier and faster way to a s'mores is going to be your go to this summer.

Key Ingredients and Substitutions
Peanut Butter Cups. I love the unique and extra delicious taste that these peanut butter cups give my S'mores. But you can of course use chocolate chips instead. Feel free to use almost any kind of chocolate or chocolate bar. Just dice it small so it melts properly.
Marshmallows. The Large marshmallows are best for this! Gooey in the center and toasted on top!
Graham Crackers. Dip into your hot gooey skillet with your graham crackers. Of course for the S'mores flavor i recommend using these, but you can get creative and use any cookie you desire!
Step by Step Instructions
- Roughly chop up your peanut butter cups. Place in the bottom of a small cast iron skillet.
- Place your marshmallows on top of your peanut butter cups, covering your whole skillet.
- Bake in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Without opening the oven increase the temperature to 450 and bake for another 8-10 minutes.
- Take out and serve immediately with graham crackers.
Expert Tips
- Use a Cast Iron Skillet. Only a Cast Iron can truly with stand the heat of the oven and heat through your chocolate properly. I use a small size for dips.
- Heat your skillet at 300 degrees first to melt the chocolate underneath and then increase the temperature to 400 to toast your marshmallows.
- Serve your skillet immedently for the best melty gooey flavors.

- Do I have to have a Cast Iron Skillet? Yes, a Cast Iron is truley the only skillet that can withstand this heat and cooke the S'more properly
- Do I have to use Peanut Butter Cups? No feel free to use chocolate chips for a more traditional Smores flavor or even feel free to use another chocolate bar of your choice.
- Do I have to cook this in the oven? You can actually cook it on the grill as well.
